Maryna Blankenstein has coached in presenting skills since the start the biotech era when presenters had the task of attracting financial investors and convincing the media of a medical revolution.  She has worked with world authorities in the medical field and senior executives in corporate repositioning.   Her aim is to generate immediate effect with innovative techniques, to build confidence and create impact in each encounter.

She uses techniques from the performing arts, emotional intelligence and stress management in these dynamic, interactive training programs.  From newest recruits to senior managers and executives programs are designed to maximize performance quickly and effectively whatever the participants’ experience.   The emphasis is on learning through doing and recognizing that every encounter is an opportunity to deliver key messages with confidence.

Maryna received degrees from Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh and Dundee College of Education in Scotland before specializing in communications in English as a Foreign Language.

She arrived in France to take up a post in the Université de La Mediterranee where she worked with engineers (who are rarely known for the communication skills!).  She worked for a number of years with International Medical Communications training physicians and medical personnel to maximize their impact on international audiences.

Maryna is concerned with overcoming the stress factors associated with speaking in public and uses techniques from the performing arts and sophrology and visualisation.  Her interest in influencing audiences lead her to qualify as an Emotional Quotient  (EQ-i – Bar-On) facilitator and combines the insights acquired from working with diverse nationalities across cultures to improve speaking and presenting skills in global companies.

Maryna has worked internationally in both French and English bringing fresh ideas and injecting dynamic and effective methods into start-ups and blue-chip companies.  She designs creative programs to deal with different aspects of communication:  from the 45 second elevator pitch, persuasive presentations for potential investors and full-scale Training The Trainer programs.   Her programs concentrate on bringing out the best performance in each participant; whatever their natural style and experience.  She believes that everyone has the potential to enjoy speaking in public and she enjoys the challenge of bringing novice speakers up to performance level.

She says of herself:  “One of the great pleasures in life is helping people fulfill their presenting potential; seeing them enjoy the delivery and receive recognition from an audience which they have interacted with, convinced and entertained.
